Winemaking: Ageing is carried out for 12 months, with approximately 25% in oak barrels to enhance structure, aromatic complexity, and finesse, while preserving the purity of fruit. Only light filtration is used to maintain the wine’s natural expression.

Tasting Notes: This Vosne-Romanée displays a deep, vibrant colour with refined intensity. The palate is structured yet elegant, offering ripe red and dark berry aromas, subtle spice, and a silky tannic framework. Fruit from warmer central and southern parcels contributes power and depth, while cooler northern sections bring freshness, balance, and supple texture.

Cellaring: Can be cellared for up to 15 years. Enjoyable when young with decanting to reveal aromatics, or allow further ageing to develop greater complexity and harmony.

Caviar De Neuvic

The 20 hectares of the Domaine are located in the town of Neuvic, along the Isle, the river which was at the origin of the first productions of caviar from Aquitaine in the 1980s. In 2013, the Caviar de Neuvic brand was launched during a grand inauguration at the Domaine de Neuvic, and opened its first ephemeral counter at the Boutique Noire du Printemps Haussmann in Paris.

Caviar de Neuvic invests in sophisticated research programs all aimed at improving the care given to fish & quality control in the production & selection of the finest roe.

Founded in 1923, Clos du Calvaire is woven into the fabric of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Passed down through five generations, the estate thrives under Françoise Roumieux and her children, blending deep heritage with bold ecological vision.
