Laval
A Legacy of craftsmanship champagne from the heart of Montagne de Reims
Champagne Laval is a boutique, family-run estate located in the prestigious Montagne de Reims sub-region of Champagne, France. Known for crafting rich, expressive Champagnes with a refined mineral character, the Laval family has been cultivating their land with care and precision for over 150 years.
The story began in 1870, when Jules Laval inherited 40 acres of farmland and, together with his son Lucien, began growing grapes. In 1948, the tradition evolved when Lucien's daughter Fabienne and her husband Roger took a bold step: they began producing their own Champagne, laying the foundation for the house’s reputation for excellence and authenticity.
Today, Champagne Michel Laval continues to honor its heritage while embracing sustainable viticulture and precision winemaking. Their cuvées reflect both the character of the terroir and the dedication of a family committed to quality over generations.
