Domaine Dubois

Côte de Nuits Villages - Red

$89.99

Variety: 100% Pinot Noir

Winemaking: The grapes are harvested manually, destemmed, and then placed into the vats for 12 – 15 days. The temperature in the vats naturally raises to roughly 30o Celsius. The wine is then cellared for 15 months in oak barrels before being bottled.

Tasting Notes: The wine carries notes of liquorice and can be characterised by its well-defined, soft palate. The aromas are fruity and strong with essence of woods.

Cellaring: The wine can be kept for 10 years and is best to breathe before tasting.

Food Pairings: Both red and white grilled meats with slight charring are perfect pairings. Other good combinations include cheeses or poached eggs.
